May 2012

It's hard to believe I haven't written since March...time really flies. We got a replacement tower so our computer works again!! Unfortunately this tower doesn't take our memory cards from our camera or video camera so still have to use Heather's so may be a delay but at least I can work on the blog and our web albums, etc for now. Avery was 6 lbs 2 oz at birth and within a week was up to 7 lbs 7 oz so she is doing great!! Rachel is the best big sister we could have asked for; she is always helping and so incredibly loving to Avery. Every morning she comes up to Avery and says "Good Morning Avery" and gives her a big kiss and hug. She loves being a big sister. She has really "grown up" a lot since her little sister has arrived. She is now 98% potty trained, still working on naps and night time but otherwise she is doing great, she told me "Mommy, babies wear diapers and I'm a big girl." She also goes over to the neighbors house to play with the girls and stays by herself (usually not more than 20-30 minutes at the most and then she is ready to come home). Adam got a new job working for Schlosser Signs again; they were able to guarantee him full time plus OT and match what he is currently making so that is great as his other job was going to go back to part time or we were going to have to find part time daycare for him to work close to full time. We will still have to do daycare now but financially its what we need to do now for our family so this will be good. I have been trying to de-clutter our house and organize things better while on maternity; at least a little bit every day. Sometimes I wonder how we got this way; when we moved in I thought we organized pretty well but guess that is what happens when you are busy, have roommates and then have kids :) Well I better go, got the girls to bed a little early tonight as we need to attempt to start changing our schedules to what we will need when I go back to work so I better get some much needed sleep also :) Love you all, Callas'
