Renee's water broke at 10:20am while at work (of course, what luck)! Adam rushed from work to pick her up to go to the doctor's office for the okay to check into PVH.
We checked into our birthing room at PVH at noon; Adam began calling everyone. We asked if I could eat lunch as I was starving since I hadn't eaten since breakfast and was used to eating constantly! My Mom brought KFC as I was craving that; they suggested I not eat too much or anything greasy as some expectant mom's get nauseous as the labor begins, but I didn't listen :)
It's a good thing because Rachel wasn't ready to arrive until 22 hours after my water broke.

8:38am Rachel Nicole entered into the world at 8 lbs. even, 20.5 inches long with a full head of hair.
Daddy, Nana, and Grandma were in the birthing room as we all welcomed her into the world! She has her Mommy's hair and eye color and her Daddy's looks! Aunt Heather was close by in the waiting room, very excited that Rachel waited to be born today to share a birthday with her!
