Summer 2014
What a great summer! We have been busy finishing our yard, got a new puppy named Cash, Rachel learned to ride her bike w/o training wheels! We were blessed to have our niece, Makayla come stay with us for a weekend while in town and were blessed to meet Adam's cousin, Ryan while driving through for school! We have such a large family that its hard to keep up, even with those of us that are local, let alone the ones that are not.
Rachel started Kindergarten last week; she was so excited and ready that none of us cried! Avery stayed home w/Mommy and Daddy that day and we all walked Rachel to school and picked her up! Avery did great at daycare the next day by herself, Mommy was a little anxious about how she would do but there was a new baby there so she played Mommy and loved it!
Adam started a new job at Black Eagle Energy Services as the night shift foreman; the job is great, hours are tough but God provided this for us right when we needed it so trusting Him to show us the way!
Rachel had her first (and Mommy hopes last) scare of almost having stitches; she hit her head on the kitchen glass top table. It was about 3/4 in but they used liquid stitches to close it up; she was so brave! Avery went around showing her head to everyone, just like her big sis. :)
Rachel was upset as this happened the weekend (Mommy's birthday to be exact) :( before swim lessons were over and she was not suppose to swim. The first two days after it rained so hard that it was flooding in Windsor so the pool was closed so we were thankful for that and then we got the big water proof bandaids and a swimcap so she could at least do some things.
Well better get back to reality...more to come, hopefully sooner this time!
I am also working on getting our photos all on one site as w/these smart phones they automatically download separately and then I download my camera onto our web photo album site and then there is our youtube site...yikes I am not tech saavy but am trying to learn! Rachel will be able to help me soon enough! :)
Speaking of, she recently got ahold of my phone and said, Mom can I play Candy Crush? I have heard of this game but had never played it, she knew how to play and loves it...my 5 yr old is already teaching me electronics :)
Love you all, God bless you
