Well once again its been awhile since I have been on here; still no home computer. Thanks to my wonderful sister, Heather, we have updated pictures and videos. She not only took the time to download them all to her computer but also uploaded them onto our youtube page and emailed the pictures to me to add to our online album!!!
The biggest news is that we are having another little girl! Her name is Avery Renee (same initials as Adam as Rachel and I have the same too)! She has started moving around the last couple months a little bit. Rachel knows she is having a sister now; we will show her my belly and she will tell us "Avery is in there," then pull down my shirt and say "Keep her warm Mommy." :) She is already protecting her little sis! :)
Thanksgiving was an interesting story; we went with Adam's side of the family to Mimi's in Loveland. Long story short, they paid the tab for the 10 of us due to the wait, running out of turkey, then finding another one, to getting orders wrong, forgetting some of our food, slow service, etc etc. So that weekend, Adam and I cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for the 3 of us, well 4 of us! :)
Christmas Eve we just hung out at home most of the day; went to church with Mom, Jim, Danny and Gaven. After church, Adam took his girls out for Hot Cocoa then we went to Woodward Governor to look at the lights as that is our tradition! Rachel saw the Christmas tree and said, "That is the biggest Christmas tree ever!" We went home and opened the gifts we received from Dad & Linda, Grandma & Grandpa Cox, Suzie and Adam & I. She got a couple of stuffed animal ducks, 2 new dolls, a gift card to the Baby Gap for some clothes, a Zhu Zhu hamster set up, crafts including markers, crayons, glitter glue, paints, metallic paint set up. We did some crafts immediately after opening the presents, she really loves crafts!!
Christmas morning Rachel came in to wake us up (we were already up waiting in excitement for her to see what Santa had brought) and we asked her if Santa had come. She said, "no he didn't come yet." We told her that he comes at night while we are all sleeping to which she replied, "no he isn't here." We told her to go look under the tree and see if there are more presents and if the stockings are still on the wall or under the tree?
She looked and came back and said, "no he didn't come yet." So we all went out there and showed her that he had come and filled up our stockings with little gifts and candy! Then she opened the gifts from Santa and got a pair of light up Princess shoes and a double sided board, one a chalk and magnet board and the other a white board, a puzzle, 3 new toddler song CD's, and some candy!
Christmas Day we went to Uncle Darold and Aunt Cathy's for lunch, followed by presents. Rachel got clothes, a keyboard, color changing markers, princess dress up boa, shoes, tierra, a princess wand that has games including learning with numbers, letters. She got the movie Monsters, Inc. which she loves!
Now I have to see if I can't use Heather's computer again to download the pics and videos from Christmas but at least we have some new ones since Halloween :)
Hope you had great holidays and Happy New Year!
Love you all, Callas'
