Rachel loves to say her newly found word, Da-da! She is such a Daddy's girl; she calls for him from the other room, its so cute! :) She also likes to say ba-ba and she waves a lot! This week she has started reaching out toward you giving High Fives. She also will share her snacks with you, sort of, she will start to put it in her mouth then hand over to you and then sometimes pull back and eat it, grinning as she loves Mommy's response as I just laugh with her and then act like I'm going to eat her hand where the snack was.
We are having a ball being parents and watching her grow and learn. She loves to crawl and surprise you when she's caught up to you! She also loves pulling herself up and standing.
She absolutely loves her kitty and dogs; she gets so excited when Rio (our cat) enters the room and Rachel crawls after him :)
Rachel's 9 month appointment went well; she is 16 lbs. 1 oz. 27.5 inches long. She is very active, responsive, crawling, pulling herself up to stand and just a sweetheart!
Rachel's third tooth cut through Wednesday of this week and the fourth is peeking through as well; she is such a trooper through it all. She loves to eat so this will allow her to expand what she can try! She has realized that veggie baby food is very bland and ours is better :) She likes the fruit baby food okay but would still rather grab our food and taste it instead; she also will let you know that she likes it and wants more immediately by saying "mmm" or "aaahh."
